Overboard Dry Bag, Tube DryBag With Rolldown Top, is made with heavy duty nylon-coated PVC tarpaulin material which is not only waterproof but makes the Overboard dry bags super durable and rugged, ideal for all watersports or outdoor activities. The seams are welded to ensure they are waterproof and the trusty Overboard Fold Seal System, which rolls the top of the bag closed, makes both a waterproof seal and practically airtight seal, combined this all makes the Overboard dry tub dry bag 100% waterproof. When sealed correctly the dry tube is suitable for quick submersion and, assuming you dont put more weight in the drybag than its volume (principle of buoyancy!) it will float! This is due to the roll top which seals air in the dry tube as well as keeping water out. The material is easy to wipe clean and can take a bit of a beating as well as being brightly coloured so easy to identify. All Overboard dry tubes come with a simple clip on shoulder / carry strap making them easy to transport kit onto a boat, ski, kayak, SUP or any other water craft. The 40L Dry Tube is a large capacity dry tube, with a reinforced carry handle. The 40 litres makes it suitable for carrying a large amount of clothing and other kit in a totally sealed and dry kit bag. Overboard Waterproof Rating System

IP64 Waterproof Rating 1| Water resistant for light rain or light splash / spray applications. The product could be permeated by water in any of the following situations: prolonged water exposure, heavy top-down watering, forceful water pressure applications, or submersion. IP65 Waterproof Rating 2 | Waterproof in top-down watering applications. The product could be permeated by water in any of the following applications: forceful water pressure, water injected from odd angles, or submersion. IP66 Waterproof Rating 3 | Waterproof so tight it floats or can handle quick submersions. The product could be permeated by water in any of the following applications: prolonged submersion, submersions greater than 3 feet in depth, high water pressure applications. IP67 Waterproof Rating 4 | Waterproof and submersible to at least 1 meter / 3 feet. This is the first class we refer to as truly submersible. Suitable for underwater sports such as swimming and snorkeling, where great depths are not common. The roots of the OverBoard story are on the Thai island of Phi-Phi. Among the diving shops. Overboard's founders - Dan and Joel - found the yellow waterproof bag that was to change our lives. For weeks the guys had fought to protect our iPods, mobile phones, money and such, from the ravages of water and sand. Not easy in view of how much sailing, leaping from boat to boat-taxi, surfing, and hanging out on the wet deck of dive boats we'd been doing. Now, thanks to their new yellow friend, everything was protected and dry. But more was to change than that.
